​Transitioning into the world of radio, Johnnie embarked on a path that would see him rise to prominence as both a station owner and artist manager. His journey into broadcasting began at the prestigious School of Radio Connection, where he honed his skills and passion for the airwaves.

His career in radio took him to the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas, where he contributed significantly to Cumulus Radio’s promotional efforts. It was here that Johnnie’s talents and enthusiasm for the industry truly shone.

​In 2017, he returned to his roots in Houston, Texas. Initially working as an on-air talent, Johnnie wasted no time in realizing his vision. Just six months into his radio career, he founded Mocity Radio, an endeavor that has since flourished under his leadership.
